When you are here you will feel free, and when you go to bed at night you can fall asleep to the sound of the wind softly whistling through the ponderosa pines. The Black Hills sit at an elevation of 7,000 feet, giving you the chance to enjoy comfortable summer temperatures while you trek through the gorgeous hills full of lush plant life and possibly even see some of our unique wildlife. While you are here you may enjoy exploring the 111-mile Centennial Trail, containing meadows of beautiful wild flowers, tall granite crags, and steep canyons where you just might see turkey, elk, deer, mountain goats, bison, or bighorn sheep.
